Reminder that The City of Emerado has planned a water system repair that will take place Tuesday, May 19, beginning at 10:00 a.m. The work will focus on replacing a critical valve that regulates pressure throughout the city’s water distribution system.
To safely complete the repair, the city will need to shut off the water supply during the work. Residents should plan for the water system to be off until no earlier than approximately 6:00 p.m. that evening. However, this timeline is not guaranteed, and the outage could extend longer depending on the complexity of the repair.
We encourage residents to prepare in advance by storing adequate water for drinking, cooking, and sanitation needs. We appreciate the community’s patience and cooperation as crews work to complete this important infrastructure improvement.
