City officials have just been notified as of 10:40pm that the water main break repair failed, and has broke again. Due to nightfall, the work must cease for safety reasons. Unfortunately water services will not be restored tonight as planned and expected. City officials would like to extend sincere apologies for the unfortunate inconvenience we are all facing, and thank you for your patience and understanding as crews work to restore services as soon as possible. More updates to come when available.

The City of Emerado has identified a water main break on the transmission line that supplies water to the City of Emerado. The break is located outside of town and is believed to be occurring at a coupling on the main line.
To complete the repair, an emergency repair operation has been scheduled to begin at approximately 10:00 a.m. on Monday, June 8, 2026.
As part of the repair process, water service will need to be shut off near Arvilla to stop the flow of water to the damaged section of line. City personnel will also isolate the water lines at the edge of Emerado to prevent backflow into the system while repairs are underway.
Residents will experience water outage during the repair. Every effort will be made to complete the work as quickly and safely as possible and restore normal service once repairs have been completed.
