IMPORTANT INFORMTION ABOUT YOU DRINKING WATER AS IT PERTAINS TO NOVEMBER 2025
Too Few Water Samples Collected
The City of Emerado is required to monitor your drinking water for specific contaminants on a regular basis, results of regular monitoring are an indicator of whether or not out drinking water meets health standards. During the month of November 2025, we did not complete all microbiological monitoring or testing and therefore cannot be sure of the quality of our drinking water during that time.
A minimum of (1) acceptable sample was to be submitted to a certified laboratory for microbiological analysis. Records show (0) acceptable samples were submitted for the month of November 2025.
The City of Emerado regrets that this error in meeting monitoring requirements occurred. It is recognized that a complete monitoring program is of great value in making certain that safe drinking water is provided to all consumers. Steps have been taken to ensure that adequate monitoring will be performed in the future.
Please share this information will all the other people who drink this water, especially those who may not have received this notice directly (for example, people in apartments, nursing homes, schools and businesses). You can do this by posting this notice in a public place or by distributing copies by hand or mail.
